Although everyday life as we know it, can be challenging and overwhelming, we have the resources and the tools to live an empowered life. An existence of empowerment allows us to make progress toward and eventually achieve all your goals and dreams.

Define who you are. Understand what Success means to you and write that down. Do not let the environment around you, your current circumstances define your future, instead use that as spring board to propel yourself towards your dreams and your goals.

I grew up in a former communist country, and even though only 7 years old when the system fell, I can still recall what it meant to have no voice, where even your thoughts and dreams were “controlled” by the government. When the system fell, and people started fleeing to the neighboring countries, I recall vividly what my dream was, I wanted to become an Immigrant. Just like everyone around me, right after 8th grade, I wanted to go and work in Greece and Italy and bring money home to support my family. I recall my mother saying “Only if I am dead will you get to do that, you will go to school and get and education”. I was blessed to have had a loving family who supported and always challenged me. My parents would go to spend most of their salary so that my brother and I would learn English. I recall them saying– “One day you will be able to use it, as English is the language of the world”.

I guess my parents were right, both my brother and I had the opportunity to come to the United States and get an education and create our families. I also got to live my dream by Becoming an Immigrant. We would not be able to be here today without the help of some very special people, to whom we will be forever grateful.

I truly hope that you have enjoyed reading this and wish you the best on your journey as you chase YOUR dream. Remember that this is A way of empowering yourself to success,
