When we hear someone using profanity, it's normal to think that they're being willing aggressive. But here's the thing when dementia is in the picture: as someone progresses, their primitive part of the brain takes control. This means that while we can choose when not to say something nice, with dementia, that ability is affected. Stay tuned to learn more about what shifts we can make to have more positive outcomes.
