On the debut episode of Dangerous Conversations w/Doug Gilbert, host Gene Jackson and Doug Gilbert discuss how Doug's "King of Rock & Roll" gimmick came about in the USWA in 1993... What it was originally supposed to be, where it was supposed to go, and why it ended so abruptly, never to be revisited again. From there, Doug talks his 1993 USWA feud versus his own brother, "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert, where Doug went after the 'loser leaves town" match, what the promotion did with Eddie after Doug left, and why Eddie had a problem with it. Doug also recounts Eddie's infamous "shoot promo" on Saturday morning television, the Gilbert's history of such promos over the years, and whether or not the rumors are true that Eddie was fired from the USWA for that promo. Plus, the Dangerous One answers questions sent in from fans about his favorite memories of his Dad (Tommy Gilbert) in the ring when he was a kid, how Doug ended up doing the Freddy Krueger gimmick in Japan (and who did it first), and a few of his memories of "Dream Machine" Troy Graham (ya understand what I'm sayin?)!
