God still speaks, but not through noise or hurry. In this episode, discover how to recognize His voice through Scripture, stillness, and a quiet heart that’s learning to listen.

Ever wonder if God still speaks today?

He does, but often not in the way we expect.

In this episode, we look at what Dallas Willard called “a conversational relationship with God.” You’ll discover how His voice is found in Scripture and in the quiet moments when you slow down enough to listen.

Hearing God isn’t about chasing signs or mystical experiences; it’s about growing in familiarity with His character and learning to recognize the Shepherd’s voice that always aligns with His Word.

Main Scriptures:

John 10:27 – “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

Isaiah 30:21 – “Your own ears will hear Him. Right behind you a voice will say, ‘This is the way you should go.’”

You’ll learn:

  • How to quiet the noise and make space to hear from God
  • Why Scripture is the primary way God speaks today
  • How the Holy Spirit helps us recognize and respond to His guidance
  • A simple way to practice stillness and listening prayer in your daily routine

Today’s Challenge:

Find five quiet minutes today.

Open your Bible to Psalm 23 or John 15, and before you start reading, pray: “Lord, speak to me through Your Word.”

Then sit in stillness for a few moments. You might be surprised by the peace that comes when you simply stop and listen.
