Quantum Motion has developed the first full-stack quantum computer using standard silicon CMOS chip fabrication technology, which marks a significant step in quantum computing. The system, which is installed at the UK National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC), uses 300mm silicon CMOS wafers that can be mass manufactured, and combines the company’s Quantum Processing Unit (QPU) with a control stack that’s compatible with industry-standard software like Qiskit and Cirq.
