About Oriana:
Oriana Holmes is a Memphis native and a graduate of the University of Memphis. As an expert on domestic violence and an expert witness, she brings over a decade of hands-on experience supporting survivors and equipping professionals across legal, academic, and advocacy sectors. She is also a speaker, author, and the founder and CEO of To Rise Advocacy and Consulting (TRAC), LLC, a dynamic company dedicated to empowering individuals, institutions, and communities to rise above violence, trauma, and bias. Through her “Empowered and In Control©” framework, she delivers engaging keynotes, transformative workshops, and practical training sessions. Oriana is dedicated to transforming community responses to domestic violence. Her passion is clear: To empower individuals impacted by or at risk for domestic abuse, as well as the professionals who support them, through education, collaboration, and access to resources that promote safety, healing, and long-term resilience.
She serves on the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence State Leadership Team, leads as Board President of the Memphis & Shelby County Domestic & Sexual Violence Council, holds a black belt in Krav Maga, and instructs self-defense.
