NEWS: On Thursday, April 24, the Texas Senate Committee on State Affairs heard public testimony on our Article V legislation, titled SJR 54. This resolution would be a clean COS Action Article V application with no expiration date. Introducing the resolution was Sen. Brian Birdwell, who survived the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon and served in the Gulf War. After the hearing, COS Action's Senior Vice President for Legislative Affairs Rita Peters and Regional Director Jonathan Viaud provide recap, reaction, and a preview of what happens next in the Lone Star State.
