When Matthew and Luke recorded the story of the 40-day temptation in the wilderness, they included quite a few details. Mark seemed to gloss over the event. He even omitted the reference to Psalm 91 which Satan quoted during the temptation. Or perhaps, Mark did NOT ignore Psalm 91, but presented it in a different light!
