The authority of the Holy Scripture, for which it ought to be believed and obeyed, dependeth not upon the testimony of any man or Church; but wholly upon God (who is truth itself), the author thereof: and therefore it is to be received, because it is the Word of God.
Westminster Confession of Faith 1.4

The Westminster Confession reminds us that Scripture’s authority stands not on human approval or church decree, but on the character of God Himself, who is truth.

In this episode, Pastor Tim Beauchamp reflects on what it means to receive the Bible as God’s own Word — the voice that commands faith, shapes obedience, and comforts believers with unchanging truth. Through biblical reflection and pastoral insight, we’re invited to stand under the authority of the Word that never fails.
