Cottage courts could soon be allowed in the City of Knoxville. In this week’s installment, Scott looks at the middle housing concept. He also turns his attention to the school system’s response to the West High School football staff’s underage sex accusations, Juneteenth in today’s political climate, the life of the late Frank Niceley, the city’s new poet laureate, the first major City Council candidate forum and the One Knoxville SC fan experience. Looking ahead, he previews meetings of the Knox County Commission and Knoxville City Council, as well as a couple of Council candidate forums.
