Wall Street slipped overnight as U.S. Treasury yields climbed to multi-month highs, with investors sharpening their focus on the Federal Reserve. In corporate news, Paramount ratcheted up its battle for Warner Bros. with a hostile bid. In commodities, oil eased as Iraqi oilfield production returned to service, gold edged lower as traders grew cautious ahead of the FOMC meeting, and iron ore declined amid weakening demand signals from China.
