Gratitude, Sacrifice, and Global Vision: Peace Offerings and Community Impact
Manage episode 478730169 series 3622881
In today’s episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we dive into Leviticus 7:11–18 to explore the peace offering of thanksgiving, vows, and freewill—sacrifices that were deeply rooted in Israel’s rhythms of gratitude and worship. We’ll examine how these offerings pointed forward to Christ’s ultimate fulfillment of peace, how they shaped the message of dependence and holiness for the people and priests, and how the New Covenant frees us to walk in lasting communion with God through Jesus.
In “The Grind,” we celebrate Angelo’s birthday in the 9th grade and cheer on our Varsity Soccer team at home against Fayetteville Christian. Don’t forget—there is no school tomorrow due to the BBC Ladies' Retreat.
In “The Add-Ins,” we reflect on Relationship Domain Standard 6, Indicator 3 from the accreditation protocol, acknowledging both where BBA is strong and where we still need to grow in national and global student engagement. From coin wars and mission efforts to students using their degrees in Christian service—we’re building a future with purpose.
Join us for coffee, encouragement, and a renewed sense of Christ-centered mission.
