"These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."
Hello again! In John 15:11, Jesus says He wants His joy to remain in us so that our joy may be full.
Think about completing a marathon or finishing a massive project—the sense of accomplishment brings complete joy. Jesus desires that kind of fullness of joy for us.
He's sharing His teachings so we can remain connected to Him, the true vine. When we're aligned with Him, His joy flows into us, completing our own.
This Advent, let's focus on abiding in Jesus, so His joy fills every part of our lives.
Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for offering us Your joy. Help us to stay connected to You so that our joy may be complete. Let Your words dwell in us richly. In Your name, Amen.
