Shaming of girls starts early and it continues into adulthood. Women are shamed for their natural bodily functions, appearance, interests, etc. It's endless. Girls and women are shamed for liking the same things boys like but it's okay when boys like it. Men are allowed to be huge fans of a band but it's laughable to be a Taylor Swift fan.
