Securing a system starts with built-in operating system tools, and this episode walks you through three key Windows security features. First is Windows Defender, which provides real-time protection against malware, network attacks, and unwanted software changes. We explain how to configure scanning, quarantines, and exclusion lists. Next is BitLocker, Microsoft’s full-disk encryption solution, which protects data even if a drive is removed from its host system.
