August 19th: Why Kindness Can Change Your Classroom | Kids Devotional Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew! 🚗 Whether you’re walking to school in your favorite hoodie, wrapping up homeschool at the kitchen table, or heading to practice later — I’m Pastor Justin, and I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s talk about something that can totally change the vibe of your classroom: kindness. Posters, games, even a secret snack drawer are awesome, but kindness has the power to make a classroom (or any space) better than all of that.
Our verse today is Ephesians 4:32 (CSB):
👉 “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
The Apostle Paul wrote this to Christians in Ephesus who wanted to follow Jesus — but just like us, they argued, annoyed each other, and got their feelings hurt. His message was simple: if you say you follow Jesus, live it out with kindness, compassion, and forgiveness.
