NHTI Men's Basketball team made history on March 11, 2020, earning the USCAA D2 National Championship—the only men's college basketball title won nationwide as the country shut down due to COVID-19.

In a special Building Fortunes series, national champions Anthony Agor and Ryan Moon recount the day, and the program has since been inducted into NHTI's Athletic Hall of Fame on September 19, 2025.
