Manage episode 336142468 series 3127525
Hello everybody and welcome back to the Broaden Your Perspective podcast. Thank you for tuning back in to Part 2 of Episode 2, as John and I jump right into a conversation about gratitude and the importance of school despite being in the age of degree inflation. We get a chance to dive into the perspective of a very well educated man, John Tai, who has walked down that academic path while growing up in an Asian culture facing multiple expectations. He graduated from UCLA and achieved a PhD in political science. We also explore the many factors that play into success such as, timing, planning, self-awareness and risk taking. Other topics on today’s episode include, balancing reality when chasing your passion, contentment vs complacency and more. I hope you enjoy part 2 of the episode and without further ado, here, we, go.
