Nick Dobbins, Field CTO at Informatica, played host to Amy McNee on this episode of Bringing Data and AI to Life. Amy is the Senior Vice President of Solution Architecture and Technical Go-To-Market at Informatica and has gathered a wealth of expertise over the course of her 25-year career. She’s able to share with Nick and listeners some very compelling examples of data-driven transformation and how data can prove to be a force for good. The pair discuss:

  • Data can literally be a matter of life and death. The value of wielding data properly can be measured in lives saved and lives changed
  • How the best uses of AI are built on the back of dynamic and durable data governance frameworks
  • The skills involved in change management can all-too-often be overlooked and undervalued – but even the best technological advancements won’t deliver without the necessary shifts in organizational culture

Following Amy’s teachings and working from the foundational pillars of strong data governance and management principles can be a recipe that creates truly empowered companies able to achieve long-term and sustainable success through the use of AI and data. The true power and value of data is not in numbers alone, but in their capacity to affect real change in people’s lives.
