From a small town in Ohio, to a big city in the PNW, this girl thrives on competition and is grateful for second chances. Taran Alvelo knows that she has been blessed with opportunity during her four years at the University of Washington and is thankful for all that this experience has afforded her beyond her four years. As a rookie in the National Pro Fastpitch League, she will build upon the foundation UW gave her to push not only her pro team (the USSSA Pride) to a championship, but her National Team a run for the 2020 Olympics.
