It should piss the Mets off that they were leading the division earlier in the year and last night the Phillies were celebrating the NL East title yet again. I guess it’s possible for the Mets to catch fire the rest of the season and into the playoffs. A caller thinks Brian Daboll’s approach to the media will get him fired. We also talked about the resurgence of Daniel Jones in Indianapolis. Gio wonders how Boomer thinks Carson Wentz will play this week for the Vikings. Jim Irsay’s daughter has been on the sidelines with a headset on and a clipboard. Gio wonders what’s on her clipboard. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Chargers beating the Raiders. Pete Carroll was asked about Tom Brady’s involvement with the Raiders coaches. The Bucs came back to beat the Texans in the final seconds of the game. Todd Bowles talked about the Bucs run game. Aaron Glenn met the media and talked about the ‘outside noise’ and said this isn’t ‘instant coffee’ and that things take time. Adam Schein talked about how bad the Bears are, considering he thought they would be good this year.
