Ladies and gentlemen, THIS IS THE ORIGIN OF THE LOOSELY TOUTED, RARELY REGARDED, AIMLESSLY ABIDED, HARDLY HONORED PHRASE: "PROTECT BLACK WOMEN".
In what one could only hope to be an early birthday gift to himself, Malcolm X (born May 19, 1925) delivered his passionate speech: a raw, unfiltered, love-laced and necessary ode to the Black American woman.
This episode brings a powerful close to our celebration of Women's History Month with a bang.
- We discuss the disrespect, disregard, distaste, and disgust of and for Black women, feelings that have originated long ago and been perpetuated towards us for NO. DAMN. REASON.
