"I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me." - Proverbs 8:17 Wisdom can be found. It is also a gift from God. I think God wants to give wisdom to those who are actively seeking it. If you’ve got two men who both love God and both pray to God for wisdom. But one seeks out wisdom, and tries to apply Gods word to different scenarios in his life. I believe that God will give the active man more wisdom than the man who simply asks for it. You need to ask for it, but I think this scripture supports the notion that God wants us to seek it out.
