Biblical talks Encouraging Word for the Week I am Rachel Tolliver, Genesis 12:3. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Being blessed is not just about what God does for you; it's also about what He does through you to bless others. If you want God to bless you, you must be ready for Him to bless others through you. Listen cities have food banks and blood banks. They’re designed to help other people live. Although these banks are set up to collect, they are not designed simply to hoard and store. The resources they gather help other people to live – either by the infusion of food or by the infusion of nutrients from blood. Living in God’s kingdom brings blessings, but God has saved us so that we can share the blessing God has given us with others.
