So, picture this – I’m being served what I think is Irish coffee, only to realise it’s actually Bisto gravy. Yep, gravy. Mortifying at the time, but honestly, it’s the perfect metaphor for life and business – appearances can be seriously deceiving.

We’ve all been there, comparing ourselves to someone else’s polished perfection, thinking we’re not good enough. But here’s the truth: behind every shiny success story is a pile of hard work, mistakes, and messy moments. Nobody wakes up flawless – trust me, I’ve spilled my share of gravy along the way.

What I want you to remember is that perfection is overrated. Don’t let fear of being imperfect keep you from showing up, launching your idea, or chasing your goals. Success isn’t about avoiding mistakes; it’s about embracing them.

So, go out there, take the leap, and don’t sweat the gravy moments. They make the best stories anyway.
