In this episode of Between the Bells, Rebecca is joined by Anna Earl - a former police detective turned nutritional therapist - who now specialises in helping shift workers protect their health, energy, and longevity.

Drawing from her own lived experience of burnout and long shifts in the police force, Anna shares how she retrained in nutritional therapy and now delivers solution-based programmes designed specifically for those working irregular hours. Her expertise lies in chrono-nutrition - the science of how our 24-hour body clocks interact with food timing, digestion, sleep, and overall wellbeing.

Anna works 1:1 with clients in Guildford and Godalming, but also advises nationally. She’s been the nutritional consultant for the National Police Wellbeing Service and now sits on the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS), helping reduce road user risk by addressing fatigue through nutrition.

This episode is packed with practical insight on sustainable habit change, how to shift your routine (not just your meals), and why health isn’t about perfection - it’s about small, repeatable actions that respect your biology.
