When that person up ahead in the right turn only lane puts their blinker on way too late and starts to merge across the solid line towards your lane, what are your thoughts about that person?

When you you distinctly recall asking your partner to empty the recycling bin yesterday, and now it’s a jenga pile of jam jars and plastic packets - what are your thoughts about that person?

Just to speculate, they’re not positive thoughts are they?

However - do you realise that what’s happening there with your judgment about the other person is one of the core thinking biases which can destroy relationships, and lead to unnecessary, possibly dangerous conflict with strangers?

Luckily it’s one of those things that once you know it’s there, you can actively start to work at it - and in this episode Osher talks about identifying and dealing with this trap of thinking which often sits at the core of all relationship discontent.
