Karterlee was born in Hahira, Georgia comes from a southern family. With his mom side from Georgia and grandfathers side from Florida. He believes music is an escape and he wants to bring meaningful rap back like old school r&b and old school rap just with a twist. Growing up in a Christian church Karter Lee sung in choir.
