This marks the 12th year that SCAD celebrates deFINE ART and the first time all the programming will be virtual. This allows for audiences around the world to tune-in to the three days of arts programming which will include a virtual opening reception, gallery talks, artist conversations, studio visits, and more. There is truly something for all art lovers to enjoy and all the virtual programming is free to watch! All artists taking part in deFINE ART programming also have new exhibitions on view at SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah or SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion and Film in Atlanta, allowing people to tune-in to the virtual programming during the week and then go see these international artists’ works at our award-winning SCAD museums. This year deFINE ART exhibitions include sculpture, painting, fibers, architecture, illustration, photography, and costume design which reflect many of our university’s top ranked degree programs. Sanford Biggers Contra/Diction exhibition is a visceral experience for visitors that speaks to combating racial injustices. Biggers' exhibition will be on view in the Walter O.
