WHAT'S UP EVERYONE! It is with much excitement to announce to you all a brand new miniseries. It's time for a new season, so fittingly this comes at you during the NBA season: ++SEASON 2🎙️🏀: WHAT NBA PLAYERS (FEATURING: STEPH CURRY, DAMIAN LILLARD, JAMES HARDEN, CHRIS PAUL, ANTHONY EDWARDS, DANNY GREEN, LONZO BALL & MORE) AND COACHES LEARNED FROM 2020, SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES, STOPPING ASIAN HATE, BLACK LIVES MATTER, & WHAT YOU CAN LEARN FROM THEM IN YOUR SEASON OF LIFE AS THEY REFLECT DURING A NEW NBA SEASON++💯With so much pain, heartache, devastation, and sorrow, 2020 carrying into 2021 brought so many trials with it. Yet, there was also so many countless lessons to be learned to hopefully get better individually and as a society. What much of the mainstream media and others didn't tell you is there was...HOPE. Through all that darkness, there was light. Through all the pain, there was PURPOSE.When we go through trials, we can see it happens for a reason on the other side, as crazy as that is. And with now a few months to reflect on what was a crazy 2020/2021, it gives some time to put it all into perspective.I went on a journey to talk about this to NBA players and coaches around the league. The league seemed to be at the forefront of a lot of discussions involving social justice protests and seemingly was one of the first major leagues to shut its arena doors in 2020. In what was a difficult season of life and the NBA continues its season, hopefully we can all learn a little something from some of the lessons they've learned to apply to this season of life...to continue the conversation so that it doesn't become just a trend or #hashtag but a livelihood to promote equality and respect and love others. It's a shame that it took everything that transpired for people to talk about it but at least NOW it's being talked about. But it should be talked about whether or not it's 'cool' or 'mainstream' to talk about it. It should be talked about. Period. And equality should be an everyday, everybody thing. Period. Not just when it's trending. But every single day.💯Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said: ”I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together...when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: Free at last. Free at last. Thank God almighty, we are free at last.”
