In this episode, I’m diving into a comment I hear all the time: “You talk so fast!” Sound familiar? For many of us on the autism spectrum, fast speech isn’t just a quirk—it’s how our brains and bodies naturally sync up. If you’re autistic and have ever been told to “slow down,” this one’s for you.

I’ll share what fast talking means for me as an autistic adult, why it’s often misunderstood, and how it connects to processing speed, anxiety, ADHD, and sensory overload. We’re flipping the script on this so-called “issue” and embracing it as just another part of our neurodivergent communication style.

🎯 In this episode:

  • Why autistic people might speak quickly

  • The link between autism, ADHD, and fast talking

  • How to manage fast speech in social or professional settings

  • Ways to self-regulate without masking your true self

  • Tips for explaining your communication style to others

Whether you speak quickly or know someone who does, this episode brings compassion and clarity to a very real part of autistic life.
