Fossils are often thought to be millions of years old and the result of slow processes over a long time. But the Bible’s history provides a much better explanation for the origin of fossils!

In Genesis, we read about the global flood of Noah’s day. This catastrophic event would’ve ripped up miles of sediment and redeposited it in layers. Billions of organisms would’ve been trapped and buried in this sediment, eventually becoming the fossils we dig up today. All this took just a few short months during the flood.

The flood explains why we find billions of dead things, buried in rock layers, laid down by water, all over the earth.
