Manage episode 463475744 series 3642582
Welcome, dear listeners, to another exciting episode of "And All the Things." I'm your host, Michaela Birdyshaw, and today we have a truly remarkable guest to introduce. She's a talented photographer, a world traveler, and a woman with an incredible passion for capturing the beauty of human connection. So, get ready to be inspired as we dive into the world of Jenny Mayfield!
Jenny Mayfield's journey has been nothing short of remarkable. She founded her photography company in 2017 and has since been capturing the essence of life through her lens in the beautiful city of Zurich, Switzerland and now in New Jersey.
Jenny's company is a treasure trove of knowledge when it comes to women, lighting, makeup, and posing. Her values revolve around connection, service, and impact, which are the very essence of her work. But her heart has always been in making a difference. As the Operations Manager for Cause Marketing at Population Services International, Jenny developed creative communications and marketing strategies to increase visibility of HIV/AIDS programs, capturing stories that needed to be told. And let's not forget her incredible journey as an assistant to the Director of the Olympic Torch Relay for the Atlanta Committee for The Olympic Games. Standing beside Muhammad Ali as he lit the cauldron is just one of the amazing experiences that make Jenny's story so unique.
Jenny's story is not complete without mentioning her loving family. She's married to the talented journalist, Brian Blackstone, and together they have two hilarious children, Grady and Compton.
