When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer have been making music together for over 35 years - 53 album to their credit. In 2015 they met Chinese classical hammered dulcimer player, Chao Tian, and quickly recognized a synergy that needed to be explored. The result is their latest offering called, From China to Appalachia. Cathy joins me on this edition of www.AmericanaMusicMagazine.com to share some of their story from this award winning musical journey.
