Mecara Bruce was a defender on the St. John’s Women’s Soccer team, and helped to launch AIA on her campus. In addition to starting all 19 games in her final season of play, she graduated with a 4.0 grade point average, and was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America Division I Women's Soccer Second Team. A finance major, is currently on sabbatical.
