He is the also the Author of an equally superb 3 Volume set of Books, titled 'Irwin Allen's Lost in Space; an Authorized Biography of a Classic Sci-Fi Series'.

MARC'S' BIO: Marc was born in San Diego, but grew up traveling the road with his father, making pit stops along the way up & down the West Coast, as well as Hawaii & New Mexico, before finally landing in L.A. His knack for writing became apparent early on & he wound up working for 30 years in TV & film. His TV writing assignments include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Diagnosis: Murder among many others. He also has numerous other TV & Film screen credits as producer, director, show runner, etc. In addition to his books on Star Trek & LIS, Marc has written books on the groundbreaking 60's show I Spy and Long-Distance Voyagers: The Story of the Moody Blues, Irwin Allen's Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea Vol. 1 & These are the Voyages: Gene Rodenberry & Star Trek in the 1970's. When we last spoke with Marc over a year ago, we spoke at length on his LIS books, concentrating on how Irwin Allen managed to bring this ground breaking series to network TV & how the show evolved during the 1st season. This time, I wanted to get Marc's take on how Irwin Allen responded to the challenges of the 1966-67 TV season on LIS & his other TV properties. I also want to explore Marc's view on Irwin Allen vs. Gene Roddenberry. So, sit back & enjoy this fascinating & freewheeling INTERVIEW with Author Marc Cushman.
