Meanwhile, Sam Altman's playing chess while everyone else plays checkers, pivoting to luxury pricing just as Grok tries to race everyone to the bottom. Smart move really - when your competitor goes commodity, you go premium.

Meta's adding AI assistants to Facebook Dating whilst a quarter of young adults are apparently getting their romantic needs met by chatbots. It's simultaneously fascinating and slightly concerning. We're optimising for engagement, not actual human connection. But that's the world we're building, isn't it? Everything's getting intermediated by algorithms, from finding love to moving billions around tech companies. Just another Tuesday in the attention economy.
