African American women have a unique experience with the abortion industry. About 50% of African American pregnancies end in abortion. In New York City, more Black babies are aborted than born alive. Why is that? When we consider the history of how African American women have been treated, we can grasp the complexity of the generational curse. Sylvia Blakely, herself post-abortive (as I am), recently published an abortion recovery program specifically for African American women… But it’s a $5 ebook we should all read. African American history is American history that we all need to discern and discuss. Let’s break the curse and abortion-proof our children.
