We continue with the story of the Disney Animation Strike of 1941, and how it unfolded. Jake Friedman tells us what is happening in the world and the USA, while the strike is getting started. This gives important context to the strike. Jake, Kerry and Pete talk more about Art Babbitt. His life at first reveals no compelling reason to be a person who is concerned about his fellow man. He makes good money, leads an extravagant lifestyle and hardly seems like the man to be the leader of a strike.
