The ifrit is a being immersed in the pages of Arabian folklore. It is an object of great fascination in this episode. Described by their hot temper and inclination towards defying, ifrits defy our conception of the paranormal and the moral ambiguity of folklore. In the episode we’ll go back to their beginnings and how they function in Islamic legend. They are described in both evil and benevolent in various forms. This makes us examine more carefully the concepts of power, consequence, and free will as they evolve through the centuries and informs us about how these stories reflect our own desires and fears.

While We narrate thrilling tales of what others have gone through, the episode tries to demonstrate the tenacity of the ifrit in contemporary uses and bridging of classical myth and contemporary reality. We subject very intensely to analysis the psychological impact of such experiences and how they affect our perception of the invisible and ethereal forces which tend to structure our lives. By placing the ifrit alongside other such characters in other mythologies, we bring to the foreground the cross-cultural relevance of these myths and lessons they teach us about human nature and morality.
