Episode #065:
Amid the laughter and humor, that has not changed since they were last heard from before the Holidays. Our hosts discuss where they have been and why they have been gone for so very long. Right when Thanksgiving hit, they were preparing for the Holiday break, cooking, baking, Christmas shopping and mailing out gifts and baked goods. And then came black Friday or possibly the black plague for the two of them. They both went down with covid, Patrick added the flu, Influenza type A. Janet added Bronchitis to hers. This is when they discovered what people do not advertise or talk about. Anything that has ever gone wrong with you will rear its head again after covid hits you. So, the Holidays were exciting in an all new way for them this year and baking and dinner went out the door.

With the time on their hands, they began talking more about where to take this podcast to, going on year 4. It began as trucking, then they tried expanding it for a while. Which simply put, was ok, but not where their hearts are at. So, they both decided the only way to go was back to their roots, yep, Trucking. However, this time they chose to do more research prior to recording anything. As well as finding a way to help others while they still talk about trucking.

Those thoughts being said aloud, they began with notes, lots of notes. Enough for about 70 or more episodes! Beginning to seasoned veteran drivers, they desire to help all of them. And with the direction they are headed, and the notes they have, it is very likely that they will.

From learning about the new ways and listening to the old ways and the stories of how things used to be. The good and the bad on both, then this is the Trucking Podcast for you. 40+ years’ experience and hauled just about everything between them.
