We had an unintentional month and a half hiatus, but we're roaring back with "In the Heat of the Night," Norman Jewison's slightly uneven film about a murder in a small Mississippi town and the complications brought on when one of the investigators is a black homicide detective from Philadelphia. They call him "Mister Tibbs!" And so will you. Enjoy.
