Trap Plan, a video game marketing company, admitted to creating over a hundred fake organic posts and comments across Reddit communities to promote War Robots: Frontiers. Despite the controversy, the game hasnt seen much negative backlash. The companys CEO, Pavel Beresnev, initially boasted about the campaigns effectiveness but later distanced the games developer, My.Games, from the marketing tactic.
