Part 2 of 2. Editor and Writer Jim Shooter (R.I.P.) was a revolutionary and controversial Editor at Marvel Comics who got his start at DC as a writer and artist when he was a tender 13 years old. Among his many credits, he created the Superman-battling character of Parasite and completely revitalized Marvel in the early 1980s, while pioneering the concept of royalties for comic book artists. Jim gave us the full spread of his sharp, no-nonsense insights. We were surprised to learn of his passing shortly after this conversation.
