And make no mistake its a win they thoroughly deserved for the effort and character shown throughout the game. The early injuries to Kelechi Iheanacho and Alistair Johnston piled extra pressure on Brendan Rodgers’ side, who haven't had their troubles to seek in recent weeks. But to their credit, they responded superbly to those setbacks and eventually took full control against the Austrian champions. Special praise goes to goalscorers Liam Scales and Benji Nygren, while Arne Engels offered a timely reminder of just how influential he can be at the heart of Celtic’s midfield. With another huge test awaiting at Tynecastle on Sunday, it’s vital that the team now builds on this performance and finally finds the consistency that’s been missing for much of the season. 🎙️ Join Tino & Brydo for their post-match thoughts after a stressful, but ultimately rewarding night at Celtic Park.
