This is TALK ABOUT MUSIC, and in this latest episode Steve talks to guitarist, producer & songwriter Kevin Armstrong.

Kevin has worked with David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Paul McCartney and many more. He talks about first meeting Bowie and working on his album Absolute Beginners. This led to work with Iggy Pop and many more including working with Paul McCartney on The Last Resort Show hosted by Jonathon Ross. He discusses his illustrious career and picks out some highlights including appearing in Bowie's band at Live Aid!

Steve Sahl-Taylor has nearly 40 years experience as a musician, singer and songwriter. He started singing in bands in South Wales when he was 16 before taking long term residencies in Spain and Croatia. On returning to the UK he moved to Devon in South West England. Here he started writing songs for his first album. The album Hello World was signed to US label ACM Records and was released in 2006.
He continued touring throughout Europe with 12 tours to Scandinavia and many gigs in London and South East England.
He still writes songs, does the occasional gig and is a music teacher. He is based in London.
