John 9 14 And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his (the blind man's) eyes. 16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them. The Word does bring division. For that person who understands the word will be divided from that person who has joined a church but does not understand the Word of God. Therefore when a religious person does not have the Spirit of God, he will fail to see the miracle and pick away at the letter of the law, which he has misinterpreted. Religious people often strain at gnats while swallowing camels. The church are those individuals who have the Spirit of God in them and who are led by the Spirit of God. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Paul explains: But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
