Thank you to the local and state authorities in Utah for your partnership with the FBI. We will provide updates when able.” 6:30pm- Utah officials held a press conference following the heartbreaking assassination of Charlie Kirk—announcing that a “person of interest” is in custody. Governor Spencer Cox (R-UT) told the media: "I just want to remind people that we still have the death penalty here in the state of Utah."
