Why does it appear that the Bible contains so-called contradictions or discrepancies? If there truly are error’s in the Bible then the critics are correct when they say it’s a human invention, rather than the word of God. For example is there a contradiction between what Jesus said in Matthew 5 about not abolishing the Law, whereas other statements in the New Testament state that the Old Law has been abolished.
