Brandon Thompson is the founder and Managing Member of The Live Oak Capital LLC. Brandon oversees the company’s acquisitions and business-development activities. He also directs Live Oak’s overall investment strategy. He brings over 20 years of experience in real estate development, general management, and scale to the company.

Before The Live Oak Capital, LLC, Brandon was the founder and CEO of 3 enterprising real estate businesses; Investor Network, Swift Change Real Estate, and Heritage Oaks Realty, where he originated the concepts, developed the operating plan, bought and sold over 1,500 parcels of real property, and raised over $25MM in private capital from investors from all over the world. Brandon currently holds an active qualifying broker’s license in the state of Ga.
Brandon is also currently, the managing member in his STR property management company Southern Charm Vacay which he owns 20 homes privately and 5 homes that the company manages. He also owns the short term rental specialized brokerage STR Wealth Brokers which specializes in short term rentals and helping buyers purchase and sellers list houses in the North Ga mountains and in Coastal Ga.

This interaction with people, real estate, and finances has led Brandon to host many meetings that have opened the doors with new clients and many of his existing peers…When not working on his current businesses, Brandon mentors and coaches in the real estate space through his counsel, and many of his clients have created 6 figure businesses of their own…

Brandon loves to hike, listen to jazz, indulge in fine red wine, and has a love for independent films… Brandon has two daughters and married his high school sweetheart, and has been married for 20 years.
